Cost Management

Tony Madden Architects & Interiors Pty. Ltd. is committed to total transparency and accountability to the client body at all times particularly in regard to cost management. Our policy is complete, open and regular communication with the project cost consultants and management team. Once again it has been our long term involvement with clients such as the Rockhampton Catholic Diocese which evidences our ability to manage costs.

To maintain the appropriate company business and Quality Plans of Architectural Excellence and Services to our clients, the management procedures to be adopted for each project involve the following:

* Verifying and maintaining the agreed brief;
* Working within the budget and program for each stage of the project;
* Maintaining job cost records throughout all phases of the project;
* Consulting with others to obtain all design information necessary;
* Placing the correct staff with the required technical skills to perform tasks;
* Reviewing procedures throughout the project

Coordination of Consulting Services

The electronic transfer of documentation allows for cross CAD system communication between ourselves and our consultant
group no matter where the team members reside. The need for close communication still exists and this would need to be
done at a reduced number of consultant team meetings throughout the design documentation process.


Tony Madden Architects have been commended by the Royal Australia Institute of Architects with Regional Design Awards for our designs for the Technology Centre at Shalom College, Bundaberg, and also for the Waterford Dining Hall, St Brendan's College, Yeppoon,
