Constructed by Griffin Builders, the new Administration building at The Cathedral College, Rockhampton, was designed to cater for growth in the school, with student numbers almost doubling in the past 10 years. The main design feature is a new circulation path on the upper levels which connects all the two stories buildings on the school site. The pathway is approximately 65m long and screened with raw ironbark timber cladding.

Adjacent to St Joseph’s Cathedral, the double height entry space allows a connection the Gothic inspired, sandstone cathedral.

The total project cost is approximately $5million.
